The Void Kinveners

Women called to gather and tend a small circle of women (3-8) through the journey of The Void

Who are Kinveners?

You don't need to be a professional facilitator to become a Kinvener. Kinveners are:

⊹ Community organizers: You convene community and want to offer The Void as a way for women in your community to journey and deepen together.

⊹ Coaches, facilitators, guides: Your work aligns with the vision and intention of The Void and you'd like to hold relational space for a small group of women to journey alongside you.

⊹ Community members: You want to participate in a local pod and feel called to help initiate and organize a circle in your area.

As a Kinvener, you’ll help create the conditions for your pod to gather and journey together by:

→ Initiating communication and helping your pod get connected

→ Coordinating pod gatherings and locations

→ Helping tend a welcoming, relational container in which everyone can participate

→ Following the pod practices and meeting structure provided by The Void facilitation team (we'll provide a Kinvener Guide with practices, suggested flow, timing and other resources)

→ Weaving the journey of your group into that of the whole ecosystem (during live group sessions and/or through the community forum)

What You’re not Responsible for

Kinveners are not expected to:

→ Host every gathering in their own home

→ Develop or teach curriculum

→ Act as a therapist, coach or expert for pod members

→ Develop or introduce additional curriculum or teachings into pod gatherings

→ Have all the answers or be responsible for another participant's journey

You are not expected to lead others through The Void, but to journey alongside your group while tending the conditions to gather, deepen and explore together. Pod gatherings are dedicated to The Void journey and are not a space to promote or recruit participants into your own services, programs or offerings.

We also value the gifts and work Kinveners bring beyond this program. At appropriate moments, Kinvene will create ways for Kinveners to introduce themselves and share aligned work, collaborations and offerings with the wider community.

How will women join my Void circle?

Kinvene and Kinveners will work together to invite women into local circles.

⊹ Kinvene and our facilitation team will share and promote The Void widely. Any participants who register and are in your region, may be assigned to your circle

⊹ We ask for you to invite aligned women in your locality to join your circle

⊹ We also invite all kinveners and participants to share word about The Void with women in other regions

Who makes a good Kinvener?

You are…

⊹ comfortable holding space without dominating it

⊹ a reliable communicator

⊹ willing to sit with uncertainty

⊹ comfortable following the shared structure and practices of the program

What you’re committing to

Beyond tending your own circle, you'll be part of a wider community of Kinveners—women gathering across regions to support one another, share reflections, and help weave the learning and discoveries of local circles into a larger collective journey.

Reciprocity & Support

In appreciation for the care and leadership Kinveners bring to The Void:

→ Your registration is complimentary

→ You'll receive guidance and support from an experienced leadership and facilitation team

→ You'll receive a complimentary online Circle training course, normally $100

→ We'll invite circle members to offer an optional financial gift to their Kinvener at the end of the journey. This is a volunteer community-tending role rather than a paid facilitation position, so we ask you to participate without expectation of payment, while remaining open to gifts that may be offered.
